SPC-06Behavior baseline capture
A behavior baseline is captured at deployment, including response distributions, tool-invocation patterns, refusal rates, fairness metrics, and cost/latency profiles, to enable subsequent drift detection.
At the point of deployment, the agent's behavioral profile is captured: response distributions, tool-invocation patterns, refusal rates, fairness metrics under SPC-09, and cost/latency profiles. This baseline is the reference point for drift detection under MON-04 and is updated on every material change.
Table SPC-06.1 · Maturity criteria · v.1.3
L1 to L5 · the lowest level in scope caps the agentControls exist informally; documentation is incomplete; no consistent review.
Controls are written down; ownership is assigned; review cadence is defined.
Controls are followed in practice; evidence is collected; deviations are tracked.
Baseline metrics are captured and stored for every production agent; baselines are referenced by the drift detection system; baselines have been updated after the most recent material change.
Control effectiveness is measured against documented thresholds; trends are reported.
Controls evolve based on incident learning; maturity gains are evidenced over time.
The v1.3 edition publishes a control-specific criterion at L3 (Operated). The other levels apply the general ladder to this control; see the maturity ladder.
Evidence an assessor asks for
- E.1
Baseline metrics are captured and stored for every production agent.
- E.2
Baselines are referenced by the drift detection system.
- E.3
Baselines have been updated after the most recent material change.
